End User License Agreement
Meal to Motion
End User License Agreement
Effective Date: [7 May 2026]
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Lee Ka Yip (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of the Meal to Motion iOS application (“App”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control.
2. Purpose of the App
Meal to Motion is a consumer wellness and lifestyle app designed to estimate a meal’s calories and present both standard exercise equivalents and playful “just for fun” equivalents. The App is for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a medical, nutritional, fitness, or health-care service.
3. No Medical Advice
The App’s calorie estimates, exercise equivalents, and playful results are approximate only. They may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should not rely on the App as a substitute for professional medical, dietary, fitness, or nutritional advice.
4. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
Entering accurate profile information.
Reviewing any estimates or results before relying on them.
Using your own judgment when acting on the App’s output.
Consulting qualified professionals when needed.
5. Permitted Use
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial use only, unless we expressly allow otherwise. You may not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
Misuse the App or interfere with its operation.
Use the App in any unlawful manner.
Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
6. User Content and Photos
If you upload or capture a meal photo, you keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process that content only to provide App features such as calorie estimation, history saving, and sharing.
7. Data and Storage
The App may store profile data, meal records, and history locally on your device. If we later add cloud sync, backup, or account features, those features may store data on remote servers as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Sharing and Export
The App may let you share results or export records. You are responsible for what you share and for ensuring that any shared content is appropriate for your intended audience.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, logos, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or use our intellectual property except as allowed by this Agreement.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on third-party services, frameworks, or APIs to perform certain functions. We are not responsible for outages, limitations, or changes made by third parties.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or accurate in every situation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss resulting from your use of or reliance on the App’s output.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate this Agreement or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
14. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we do, we may post the updated version in the App, on a website, or through App Store Connect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Hong Kong, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
